The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, which is actually across the border in Kittery, ME, is currently buried in years worth of upcoming nuclear fast attack and missile boat submarine refits. If there is a problem in NH, it's the shortage of housing for the 1200 new shipyard hires that started last year.

As other shipyards build the boats from scratch like General Dynamics, New London, Portsmouth, which used to build submarines during WWII, is part of the huge submarine preventive maintenance expansion to stay ahead of China's massive fleet expansion.

NH and Maine are a big part of that.
