As a Democrat I think the justice system should be punitive and nothing is more punitive then being on a life long list. As a Democrat I have no use for things like 'rehabilitation' and 'paying your debt to society'. We should also have a murderers registry, an assault registry and a burglary registry. The more the better. The public has a right to know, and people convicted of these terrible crimes should be properly branded so its as hard as possible for them to reintegrate into society after any incarceration.
