1. Honestly, there is New Mexico outside of Albuquerque.

Up here in Santa Fe we have two, count 'em two, WalMarts, and a Sam's Club. I never go to either. I did work yesterday, Thanksgiving, at the local hospital, and my drive to and from work did not take me by any of those establishments. Today, I also worked, and would have driven past the Sam's Club, but reconsidered, since that route also took me past a great number of retail outlets. Instead, I took the route that avoided them all.

I can tell you that when I was driving home on Thursday the local K-Mart looked open with a lot of cars out front. This was a little after 8pm.

It is my personal and considered opinion that anyone who shops on Thanksgiving Day is an idiot, is probably not getting as good a deal as he thinks, and should burn in hell for that. Just my opinion.

Shopping on the day after Thanksgiving is almost as bad.
