Expect at least one more day of sweltering conditions.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for all of the GLOW region that will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. In addition to Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming counties, the advisory includes Monroe, Erie, Niagara, Ontario, Wayne, northern Cayuga, Oswego, and Jefferson counties.

Heat index values – a measure of what the temperature feels like – are forecast to be in the mid-90s and could reach as high as 100 degrees, according to the Weather Service.

High temperatures are expected to be near 90 degrees today, according to Weather Service forecasts.
