2. It's outrageous. Home, car and pet owners would be taxed up the yazoo with this

If you have someone mow your lawn, you pay tax
If you have someone fix something (carpenter, porch railing, a roof shingle or even get a new roof) you pay tax on that
If you have any repair or maintenance done on ANYTHING (car, house, boat) you pay tax
If you take Fido for his yearly checkup and shots - you pay tax on that.

If you have major work done - new roof, new deck, add-on or major repair to house or car - you pay tax on it.

This can add up to HUNDREDS of dollars a year really quickly.

And if the counties raise their sales tax to make up the difference of what they're no longer getting because most of their tax revenues are now being spread across the state, then that tax goes up.

Doesn't matter if they lower 5.75 to 5.5 in personal income tax - they're more than making up the difference by taxing middle class families to death just for taking care of their home, car, pets. It's IMMORAL, INSANE, GREEDY AND JUST WRONG!

It won't help anybody but big corporations. Wealthy won't even feel it.
