On sat. is visit the Grants Pass Growers Market, really nice market.

The Outdoors Growers' Market is open every Saturday morning, mid-March until Thanksgiving, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corner of 4th and ‘F’ in downtown Grants Pass..

I second the idea of heading down the Redwood Highway and visiting the redwoods, well worth the drive also along the way are the Oregon Caves.
