Our governor (John Bel Edwards-DEM) put out a bullshit statement (on Twitter of all places) telling us to change our passwords and start monitoring credit scores and other nonsense like that. Christ, I probably have 50 passwords floating around out there.

People are pissed that the state is responsible for this yet isn't offering free credit monitoring or anything else, just some stupid vague recommendations.

And most people in Louisiana aren't even aware of it yet. I haven't seen this mentioned on the local news at all.

So if all our governor did was issue a statement via Twitter, that's pretty fucking weak. And he is a Democrat.
