But wood is how most Philly people pronounce it. Honestly, having lived in the Philly metro area since 1971, moved to Philly in 83, I've never heard kin so I asked the guy who plays violin behind me, and good friend who grew up in Bala Cynwyd. He said he's heard people pronounce it kin but its not the norm. Just an aside: He went to the same HS as Josh Shapiro
