Memphis makes Time's World's Greatest Places list [View all]

"Memphis is “in the midst of an exciting evolution,” according to TIME magazine, which placed the Bluff City on its list of “The World’s Greatest Places.” 

Published on Tuesday, the third annual edition of the list — highlighting 100 must-visit travel spots around the world — included Memphis along with other global destinations from Berlin to Bangkok, and top U.S. spots including Seattle and Santa Fe. 

In a statement noting the TIME plaudit, Kevin Kane, president and CEO of Memphis Tourism, said: “This is a great honor for our city and destination from a globally recognized media outlet."...(more)
