Yeah... like the fact that they could not get out of the parking lot due to a river taking it over.

Is anyone really surprised about this incident? That a corporation would threaten workers with their jobs if they decided to, oh, I don't know, run for their lives because of a natural disaster bearing down on them?

I for one am not surprised at all. Disgusted for sure, but not surprised. And, if there is any justice in this world, those people who own and manage the company should be hauled before a judge as well as being displayed as complete fucks to the whole world. Of course, their fellow business owners will support the people who did this, as vermin often help each other out.
