the fact that cockroaches can fly until an American Cockroach flew across my living room in Phoenix. Freaked me out!

They were my cat's absolute favorite toy. Once one got into my dryer (it was on the lint filter when I pulled it out) too deep for me to get at. I put my cat on the door of the dryer and she dove in the minute she spotted it and jumped out triumphantly with it in her mouth to go play with it some more somewhere else in the house (I nixed that pretty quickly).
