nothing special for the central Texas coast. I've never lived anywhere with such regular high winds. The Corpus Christi marina is full of sailboats the almost never go out because it's almost ALWAYS TOO WINDY! So far (mid-day Saturday) the rains haven't been a problem. Our drought ravaged ground is soaking it up like a sponge, and our reservoirs were approaching 20% levels. Glad it's missing the upper coast, as they've had way more than their fair share.
