I think we might still be a cycle away, but I would be more than thrilled to be wrong. If the shift in independent voters is real* and translates to Texas, it could be extremely competitive here.

Abbott, Patrick, et al, would have a coronary if Harris won Texas, carried by Harris County, their second-least-favorite place!
