7. We have heard the same thing for decades

It's very frustrating for those who live in this state especially seeing what is happening in the Rio Grande Valley. It seems to be doing what the state as a whole did in the seventies and 80s. I don't understand why the Rio Grande Valley is tilting more and more Republican. I know it's mostly the rural voters and overall Texas is becoming slightly more democratic with us capturing some of the suburbs especially around austin. Montgomery County and that county has New Braunfels seem to be lost causes it for now
