will also refuse to answer the immigration questions. It will look quite awkward to go down the bus and only attempt to question those students who look Latino/a.

I know I would refuse to answer any questions from law enforcement. Without reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime you don't have to provide your ID and in Texas you should only have to provide it if you have been arrested (unless they changed that law).
