4 years ago we got a 60 day notice on the house we were renting. Cheap too. Panic mode. Neither one of us had ever bought a house. My wife figured out what we could afford in terms of a mortgage payment. When she gave me the number I was shocked. “Really?” She said, “We don’t have daycare anymore”.

It was somewhere between $1,000 - $1,400 a month.
