though I almost ran her over with my own horse after she had fallen off hers. I looked back and saw her sitting on the ground, so turned and galloped back to her, but my horse was overly enthusiastic and I almost didn’t get him stopped before we got to her. He could have jumped her easily if she kept her head down, but I don’t think the girl’s mom would have appreciated hearing that story.
