14 husky dogs that roamed more than a month rescued in Pierce County [View all]

Home surveillance cameras and residents in Ashford recently spotted a large pack of husky dogs roaming in their community, according to the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County.

Once reported to Animal Control, the 14 dogs were caught and brought to the Humane Society for care and food, now that they’re no longer left to fend for themselves.

The dogs, varying in age from 5 months to 5 years old, arrived scared and nervous to the shelter, but have shown signs of friendliness to the staff.

However, with the recent intake, the kennels at the Humane Society are now completely full and animals keep flooding in, according to the Humane Society.
