Turnout for spring elections is at best about 1/4 what the presidential is. And it's the same people every year.

Don't underestimate the idiotic minority because they are the ones who crawl over broken glass to vote for idiots. Find out who your candidates are and work these elections. Better yet, start attending your school board meetings and put yourself on the ballot in December.

Then work for the candidates who are sane.
