1. I went to the pharmacy yesterday eve--

and the cashier said, "We're closing in 3 minutes! There's no one to work the late shift."

I'm so used to everything being open 24 hours. Eventually the employers are just going to have to realize they can make more money paying better and staying open....
I do wonder if the current employees get a raise when the starting pay goes up so much.

Several places here are offering starting bonuses, like $1000. I'm tempted. My own employer is being stubbornly ungenerous!
