Weirdest story in a long time. I hadn't heard that the patient died.

I'd like to know how it took 9 months to get her in front of a judge.

Also strange that she's charged with mayhem and abusing a patient. Mayhem? I'm not sure amputating a foot without permission is mere abuse, either. How is this not flat out assault? With a deadly weapon?
