They have had their eyes on the Great Lake for years. As far as we know, they haven't managed to tap into either Superior or Michigan.

But how long before this 2028 project will need a large amount of water for........???? Cooling supercomputers. They will find a reason to start drawing out of the Great Lakes finally.

Will the Great Lakes Compact be able to protect the waters covered in the Compact?

The Great Lakes Compact is a formal agreement between the Great Lakes states that details how the states will work together to manage and protect the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Basin.
