Already questions are being asked about the Electoral Commission closing down booths and failing to deliver ballot papers to everybody. Some places ran short, and others - such as some hospitals and army bases - didn't get any papers at all. This was probably a direct result of government cuts to the AEC, and it raises valid concerns. If significant numbers were disenfranchised, how valid was the election? Should there be a revote in those areas affected?
