CO will elect the first female Governor before the first female US Senator.
2020 CO US Senate female candidate- Crisanta Duran-D has to win the Democratic Primary against 2 high profile candidates Mike Johnston-D and Andrew Romanoff-D.
2026 CO Gubernatorial female Candidate- Jena Griswold-D is the frontrunner for the 2026 Democratic Primary for CO Governor.
