I was truly hoping for a female senator to defeat Gardner, but then Romanoff joined the race. I've been a champion of his for over a decade, and he would be an amazing liberal senator.

Generally speaking, I regret that we've never had a female senator, and we should. But I'll be supporting Romanoff in this race. He's not female, but he will fight for women's rights as much if not more than any woman would.

As for governor, we JUST elected the first openly gay governor! I'm having a hard enough time wrapping my head around the 2020 race. Given the multiple existential crises we are dealing with right now, thinking about 2026 feels a bit ridiculous to me.
