2. No one knows the future, and I just have a hunch on this. But Pence will not run in 2020 either.

It will be an attempt to save the republican party from itself. The damage is obvious, and new leadership could emerge to attempt to save the party. Of course, it is just a hunch. Hopefully we will see. It is the future.
