However, I think that there are other leaders with more legislative experience that are from swing states or at least offer gender balance to an O'Rourke ticket. While I don't know much about the policy positions such as Tammy Baldwin and Debbie Stabenow, those seem like more plausible choices for Beto than Abrams. For both cases, their replacements would be appointed by Democratic governors so Democrats wouldn't risk losing control of those Senate seats.
