Election Reform
In reply to the discussion: Show Me The Source Code Or Throw The Voting Machines Out!!!!! [View all]veronique25
(74 posts)46. just have elections by a DMV thumb-print app on your phone
i know this could get pretty orwellian, but just have
every registered voter give a thumb-print -- like at the dmv when you get a driver's license, or ID card for your state
then, you just touch a thumb-print app on any phone or touch-screen device and it's one person-one vote
but obviously, as stalin said: "who votes is less important than who COUNTS the votes"
there still could be electronic electorate fraud -- so then you just have re-counts by people re-voting with their thumb-prints and see if all the re-votes match the original votes
also, there could be coercion, where people are literally arm-twisted into voting whomever the strong-arms want them to...
but then maybe have a website or tv-media-outlet with the current counts on screen, like on american idol...
still, as a rancher once told me: locks only keep honest men honest...

In New York 126,000 voters 14% of all Democrats in Brooklyn were purged. That's no accident.
