started this morning, have tried restarting, got some updates and restarted again. pages have only text like when things load really slow, but are actually loading ok. sites seem mostly functional just no images and the text is all basic and on the left of the screen.

can't load a screen shot I took to imgur - gives me an error code of "server responded with 0 code" WTF?

the only site that seems to work correctly is NOAA??? https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-110.10521&lat=32.02294#.VOtnSS7-UcY

is this a Firefox problem? I have windows 7 pro and not sure what firefox version (need refresher to find that info?)
