I am traveling and I took a mac mini with me.

The latest is $600 and has 256GB SSD, and the latest M2 CPU.

Windows looks like it will need Parallels to run.

Windows 11 runs incredibly fast on M1 and M2 Macs using Parallels. In fact, it’s so fast that it’s arguably better at running Windows than any PC laptops.

This older intel mini does everything except for niche windows apps that I don't use, and it can boot windows directly with boot camp. No Parallels software needed.

I'd have gotten a new mini already but since I edit photos a lot, the monitor means a ton, and a really good one costs more than the computer. I am still looking. The imac is tempting, but is one "M" behind the mini at this time.

Note: I am using a cheap 27" Dell monitor, (but not for photo editing. That demands top sharpness and brightness)
Get something better than a TV. Do your eyes a favor.
