1. Right click on the desktop wallpaper and choose Display Settings

Then look for text size or zoom. Increase it to 125% or 150%. I forget what it's called but you'll see it in the display settings and figure it out. One size will be preferred or default. Go to a bigger number. I am on a different computer running Linux right now and can't look up the exact words.
