8. One of the 1st things I would do is to check the email header

to see the actual email address it was sent from. 99.99999999999% of the time it’s NOT from the company they are claiming to be. The email you received should be from “@microsoft.com”. Anything other than that is a scam and you should not click on any links, just delete it.
