It is nuts that Adobe doesn't have a feature in Flash to convert or save. I have lots of old .swf animations I'd like to post on my FB professional page, but FB doesn't support .swf, have to be .flv...even though they're both just Flash files. I Googled it and found four free programs which claim to to do it, but one is PC only (I have Windows 7 on my Mac -- I suppose I could try booting it up), and the others claim to convert virtually any video format to any other, but then the .swf option isn't on the menu. I have the CS4 suite, the animations were created in Flash Pro and Flash CS3. I'm flummoxed!
On edit: I did find out how to capture video on-screen using QuickTime, but it doesn't capture sound. As a last resort, I might do a capture of the .swf, then try to sync the audio track to it. It's a work-around that shouldn't be necessary.
