So I have an HP Printer I rarely use and am using OSX 10.8.6 on a year old imac [View all]

and when I try to use the scanner (to scan a baby picture of a poor child who "gave the finger" in her baby pic hehehe) the hp printer tells me to initiate this scan from my computer. I can't find ANYTHING about this on my mac)

Help.
