1. I noticed a significant issue between Firefox and Chrome this summer in online conference calls.

My Firefox could NOT get audio on online sessions--I couldn't hear anybody else speaking, and apparently, they couldn't hear me either. I put it on Chrome, and it worked. All the hardware was fine. It turned out that Firefox employed an obsolete codec protocol that disabled the audio, and there was no valid way to disable that protocol. So I had to use Chrome to plug into those meetings. Weird.

Interesting. Yes, the TurboTax people have suggested Chrome. question everything Feb 2021 #2

For financial websites of wide use, Safari might be less compatible. Tetrachloride Feb 2021 #3
