Scientific Linux 6.4 released [View all]

This is the RHEL-derivative that is optimized for scientific and mathematical uses. I used it exclusively in grad school and working at the lab right after. Octave, Maxima, and R are bleeding-edge and integrated with every editor you want. Good stuff!
