Follow the My Profile link (near the top right of the page) and scroll to the bottom to find the Signature line Edit link. Click that and enter the web address of an image in the text field and click the 'Update!' button.

The web address of the image should start with http or https and end with jpg, jpeg, png, or gif. For example:

  http://www.democraticunderground.com/imgs/logo.gif

If the image you want to use is on one of your devices, you'll need to upload it to an image host (e.g. imgur or photobucket) and use the web address provided to paste into your signature.

The stylesheet for DU limits the size of images in signatures to a maximum of 400 pixels wide and/or a maximum of 100 pixels high - if you use something larger, it will get scaled down to fit within those dimensions.
