Looking at the Post by Freshwest "Obama and the Democrats" [View all]

everything in those early days seemed so...I don't know the right words...like perhaps "unencumbered", by all the bull crap?

But what struck me even more, was the ballsy move on the part of the Dems to chose a black man as the Left Wing Representative to run for the highest office in the nation. We knew what we wanted, he had what we wanted, but we took a leap of faith that a majority of the nation would see past the color or at least be proud of the color brown.

In my first sentence I alluded to the encumbrances created by all the bullshit that have tainted the Office of the Presidency since the 2008 elections. The reality is that the crapping has been implemented by a very vocal minority, they sure have crapped all over the presidential experience of having a decent man, with high ideals serving the people. Too bad really.
