7. Bucking the right-wing attempts to destroy him and prevent him from being successful....

.....he's done more for the American people than any President since I've been born (and that's 12 Presidents, scary thought!!)

And despite the underlying racism he's had to endure, he's also one of the most beloved Presidents in our history. He's not some lofty leader way above our level, he IS one of us! I'm going to enjoy this last year of his Presidency and miss him after next January.

PS - Cha, are you anywhere near where he was born or vacations? I know it will be in Chicago, but wouldn't it be great if the Obama Presidential Library wound up in Hawaii?
