as tsf was using the fentanyl crisis as an excuse for the tariffs, Mexico's president responded by saying that Mexico has an gun epidemic caused by the US and it's easily available guns pouring into Mexico. Additionally, if the goal is to reduce the fentanyl problem, the US should take action to help it's people recover from addiction and thereby reduce the demand. In other words, the US should clean up it's own house before blaming others for it's problems.
