The way I know how to make them at home is, I buy the spices at our local Dutch store, sprinkle it over some shredded lamb, chicken, or beef and use PAM to fry it up, take out the pita bread, stuff if with the juicy hot meat, add tomatoes, iceberg lettuce (you can add fresh red onions, too), and a dollop of garlic sauce (which you can make from scratch but I buy it from Calve }. YUM!



That sandwich is HEAVEN! It's a big hit during our summer barbecues.
