10. Boy, I'm so overwhelmed by the "what-if"s, I can't imagine what Joe is going through.

We know he's got the fire, and NOW we know that Beau did make that deathbed statement (i never believed it before). I think I would just say "oh, fuck it, what do I have to lose" and go for it. If NOT, then I'd probably feel guilty for the rest of my life for not granting my child one of his final wishes (I know Catholics!). I'd be going "I should have run, for Beau" for the rest of my days. If I ran and didn't get the nom I'd say "we tried, Beau".

I'm rambling, but bottom line is I"m not going to stress about it (yeah, right) and whatever makes Joe lay his head down at night feeling he's done the best thing is what I'm happy with.
