for the unclaimed property auctions? I doubt that this is an isolated occurrence.

I wonder if new charges can be filed against the bank for theft?

On a side note, customers would be better off getting a fireproof safe and paying an insurance company to appraise and insure the jewelry instead of paying a bank for a safe deposit box.
