7. I have a fair bit of experience with these things

I'm a manager and I volunteer in the civil rights section of HR. We investigate complaints of sexual harassment, among other things. What I find pretty much mirrors what the show found. With a few exceptions, most people just don't tolerate this kind of behavior anymore. If you compare it to other bad behavior in the workplace, you find much less tolerance. In other words, if your co-worker is drinking on the job and you know it, you are less likely to turn him in than if they are sexually harassing another employee. This is true both in blue collar and white collar jobs at least from what I've seen. I think part of it also depends on the culture that management cultivates. Many years ago we decided to get pro-active, rather than reactive on workplace discrimination and it had a dramatic effect on the incidence of complaints that we were seeing.
