literally, that picture of him is an object.

I don't see anything about his personality, hopes, dreams, etc.

All they're interested in are his physical appearance.

And don't give me that "he volunteered for the photo shoot" crap. Under the matriarch there is no free will, no consent, no choice. If he hadn't done the photo shoot then it would have gone to someone else. As would the money and fame and attention. So really, did he have a choice? Obviously not.
