Video #2 is exemplary of the attitudes on the topic. The woman laughing at the idea that this might pose a problem for the guy and the lady in pink waving the "you go girl" metaphorical pom-poms.

Women more often use physical violence, and we cheer.... until he has had enough and she gets hurt.
