empowered the citizenry, as well. It used to be our major, prolonged protests were over wars, etc. I don't know that I can remember a prolonged protest against the judiciary... except when we (kinda) started protesting pot laws. At this point, with all the precedents they've over turned, all the "settled case laws" they've turned upside down, and how badly they've hurt the general population (both figuratively and literally, in the case of women), it won't take much for us to start to truly turn against SCOTUS... as well as elected representatives who don't actually represent us. I view the upcoming couple of years much as I did the 1968-1972 time period in government. Of course, that was also the timeframe that the R's decided to really start pushing back against us dirty, f*cking hippies, and they turned into yippies and yuppies.
