One of your most profound, and I'm sure accurate observation is: "Our teachers are not honored or respected as professionals they are treated as throw away day to day labor." It's especially sad that this is happening to teachers. I grew up with an understanding of what is proper and ethical, but that is all being destroyed. Almost none of it remains. I don't think any kids after me were taught such things in school. Now getting a job is about hustle and razzle-dazzle, rather than maturity, trustworthiness, or honest devotion. I'm very sorry the world treated you this way, and I hope that you have been able to find a suitable life to replace the one that the system tore away. Sometimes I feel totally alone in my perception of the world. Only occasionally I find someone like you who still gets it.
