1. This happened to my grandson.

He’s young, in pre-school, and somewhere on the spectrum. The school straight-out told his parents that it couldn’t provide adequate services (he was on the waiting list for a great specialty school at the time, which he has since begun), so they basically warehoused him off in a corner with no attempt to teach him. When he got too squirrelly, he’d get disciplined, sent home. All unofficially. All is well now, but for several months we all had… issues.
