Most of the districts in Oregon subcontract this work to them because they don't have the staff to manage the complex coordination required for getting subs to fill slots on short notice. ESS does this very well.

My experiences with them so far have been very good. They don't take a cut of your wage, so not really a staffing company, but more a service provider.
